This weekend was a speedy one!
On Wednesday our family had a big decision discussion about what to do with our lives. By family I mean Jon and I with impute from Mama Z and Dad Criman. Well the whole reason we were going to move to Logan was because that was the school I had decided on attending. Well now that I'm pregnant I'll be taking a year off school and Jon will be working on becoming an ESL teacher. Anyway we were looking at out of state tuition of Utah State University and well it wasn't possible to afford going there without any scholarships or grants. We talked and talked about where we were going to live and where Jon was going to go to school. After a night of prayer and sleepless worry we decided that UVU was a possibility and close to affordable. On Thursday we asked my Dad if he could talk to someone about a scholarship. Well as soon as he got my text he got a call from the head of the department from UVU's theatre program. He said he could see Jon on Saturday for a talent scholarship audition. We saw this as an answer to our prayers and rushed to get everything organized to leave for a quick trip to Utah and back.
We left for Utah on Friday after my class got over. We packed up the car with our clothes and the dog. This was going to be interesting, because we just didn't know how Tessa would deal with a six hour long drive. We hit rain and sleet until we got to Rock Springs and then it was clear skies! Tessa enjoyed being with us and running around what ever grass patches we could find at a gas station.
We got to my parents house and introduced Tessa to Target and Sally. We started with Sally and there were only a few snaps. Then came Target. As suspected he was very territorial. He and Tessa had quit a few squabbles, but only when we were out with them. After showing off the baby pictures and watching Sally and Tessa play around in the front room, we set up the blow up mattress and crashed for the night.
Saturday was the big day! We got to the theatre and waited for Jon to audition. We saw many of my old friends from high school, which was fun! Jon went in and sang a song from Little Shop of Horrors. He didn't get called back for the Summer Play, but he will hear soon if he got the scholarship.
Later that day we went shopping with my mom and hung out with the family for a bit. Then we went to meet up with a couple of Jon's old companions and laughed for a couple of hours. Then we had carne asada with the family. Introduced Avatar to my dad and Kyle. I fell asleep so I really don't know what happened.
After church on sunday we made the long drive home to Casper.

Baby pictures part two!
Here are the 3D images and ultrasound pictures of baby. The 3D are kinda hard to point out, but the ultra sound you can see the baby's head, belly, legs, hands, arms, and according to Jon's co-workers other...things... I'll try to explain them, but it's kinda difficult not to be able to point them out :P
The top one is his foot the middle one is his belly and those sticks are his legs. The bottom one is the head and brain.
Top: is a 3D view with his head on top arms kinda folded
Middle:He's standing on his head, a favorite position
Bottom: Another shot of his head and hand together
These three are all in 3D and are similar points of view. It's a full body shot with the head on top.

Interesting Day
Today is an interesting day: Let's begin with me fighting my memory to memorize a scene and a monologue for acting two, which 1st performance was due in 2 hours. Then the baby decided if I don't eat soon I'll start vomiting, so I go and make toast, because it hasn't made me throw up so far...there's a first for everything. So now I'm light headed and wanting to throw up even more, but oh wait I have to go to class because we have rough performances and I can't miss another day of makeup without getting the boot. And I need this class to graduate, which I'm praying will happen with good grades and being preggo at the same time.
So I finally stuff myself into my car hoping I don't have to pull over to "paint the side walk". Mossy on into the theatre to find out that Rich was going to make today a practice day, which was good for my scenes, but I could have been at home hoping to not throw up than at school. And by the way, throwing up in a public bathroom is not fun, in case anyone was wondering. And so for the good portion of class I sat there memorizing and wishing I wasn't there.
Next was Makeup, the final facial hair project. To make a beard for theatre, the quick way, you use fake hair and latex. Stinky latex! The smells of various makeup products made me dizzy, but thankfully no vomiting occurred while wearing facial hair, which I can only imagine the mess...ICK! But to brighten up my day, I finally was able to tackle those blasted beard, mustache, and eyebrows! Doug said he really liked it and that I reminded him of one of his old buddies. I was able to leave class with latex peals on my face and an "A"!
Just when I think my day is looking up, with me texting my parents about the good times they're having in Moab, not having a head ache, and thinking my stomach isn't feeling as queasy; I stop at another red light and look down at my phone and hear this big bang and feeling the seat belt press against my chest. A lady hit my back bumper, which thankfully didn't even scratch. The lady made sure I was ok, and we both looked for any damage. As soon as I said, "I don't see anything wrong." She said something, but I don't remember, and headed right for her car and so I headed for mine. I know I probably should have asked for information, but all I could think of was,' just get home, I don't even care anymore. I just want this day to end.'
So now I'm sitting in bed thinking I'm an idiot, but who cares anyway. So how was your day?

Makeup Class
In makeup class we have to do all sorts of different projects:
This is Black and white facial contoring, our first project. Basically it is looking at all the different shapes and shadows of your face.
This is our asian theatre masks that we did, which is my personal favorite
This is old age to the extreme :)
This is old age 3D
Our recent project was facial hair and more is to come.

Almost done
My first trimester is almost over!!! I will be 12 weeks along on Wednesday, which is crazy, because I feel like Jon and I just found out we're going to be parents! My next appointment is on Friday, so we're super excited!
To add to the excitement Jon got me a dog for my birthday!!! We adopted her from the humane society, her name is Tessa, she is a two year old malamute shepherd lab mix. we love her to death, but have our work cut out for us. She likes to jump up and give people kisses or jump over the three foot fence to roll in the grass. At first she would only listen to the women in the house, but is now listening to Jon and almost Dad Z. I'll be posting pictures soon!!!
