Shakespeare Competition

Last weekend we had the opportunity to be chaperon's for the High School's Shakespeare Competition team, down in Cedar City. I left with Tim on the bus Thursday morning and experienced the first snow on the drive down. Thankfully the roads weren't too bad, so we didn't skid. Thursday night Tim and I slept alone for the first time, because Jon had classes Thursday. Friday Jon drove down in Eldon Randal's truck, so he could head back up to Orem. It was so nice to see him again!

It was a lot harder for Tim to balance with the big coat!

Tim loved having Tressa and Eleanor sitting behind us on the bus!
The bus ride

That isn't dirt on his forehead. The base happened to be cement cover with carpet. So there wasn't any padding when Tim tripped over his feet and hit his head on the floor. Luckily he was able to catch himself with his hands so his head didn't get the full force of the fall.

Kids were exhausted!

Tim loved Al Oquendo! Sadly Mr. O had to go to the Hospital Friday night for his knee. He messed it up a couple weeks ago and then it became so painful with all the walking around. Thankfully he came back that night and was able to hang out with us at the base.

A big relaxer for all the kids and Jon was to play with the iPad. I am now considering getting one, just for the Charades game :)

The base was just around the corner to a bunch of stairs. Tim loved climbing up and down. He figured out how to scoot down the stairs on his bum, however, we had to tell him, "Sit down! Scoot on your Bum!"

Timothy was so excited to see his daddy!

Tim's first hotel. The first night was a long night, not just because Tim usually doesn't sleep well in his play pen, but because it was my first night with out Jon since we've been married. But we survived!

Exhausted

We had to pack baggies of formula, food, and diapers.
The kids were celebrating after all of the tech olympics and monos and scenes performed.

All of the kids loved playing with Tim

All the kids did great in the competition! I don't know what they placed, but it was fun to work with them and get to experience coaching throughout the whole process.
Go Bruins!!!
